The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has opened access for the printing of 2026 Mop Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination slips ahead of the exercise scheduled for Saturday, 13th June 2026.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board disclosed that the notification slip contains essential details required for participation in the examination. These include each candidate’s examination centre, date, time, and key instructions designed to ensure a smooth process on the day of the test.
The Board indicated that the Mop Up examination was arranged for candidates who were unable to sit for the main UTME due to technical issues. It also covers those whose biometric verification could not be successfully completed during the earlier exercise.
Candidates eligible for this examination have been directed to visit the official JAMB website to print their slips. To do this, they must click the option labelled “Print 2026 Mop Up UTME Slip” and follow the instructions provided.
For a full breakdown of the process, eligibility, and what this means for admission, see JAMB Mop Up Examination Date 2026.
JAMB advised candidates to print their slips early and take time to locate their assigned examination centres before the scheduled date. This step, the Board noted, is necessary to prevent avoidable delays or confusion on the day of the examination.
The Board further emphasised that the Mop Up UTME serves as the final opportunity for all affected candidates to participate in the 2026 examination cycle. It clarified that no additional examination will be conducted after this exercise.
Candidates have therefore been urged to make adequate preparations and utilise this opportunity effectively. The Board reiterated its commitment to ensuring that all eligible candidates are given a fair chance to complete their examination process under appropriate conditions.
Fabian Benjamin, PhD, OrgExpert, Public Communications Adviser of JAMB, confirmed the development and encouraged compliance with all outlined instructions.
