Your first step for the UTME exam is purchasing the JAMB ePIN. This unique code is what you use to register. Before you get it, you must have created a JAMB profile. This is done by sending a text with the word "NIN" followed by your 11 digit National Identity Number to 55019 from your personal phone number. 

The JAMB ePIN is a unique 16 digit number required for UTME or Direct Entry registration. Registration cannot be completed without it. The ePIN connects your Profile Code to your payment and confirms your eligibility to register.
