Buying a JAMB ePIN just got easier for thousands of candidates as Interswitch rolls out reliable payment options ahead of the 2026 UTME and Direct Entry registration deadline.

The African digital payments giant has made its platforms available to support the expected volume of transactions during this registration season, ensuring that candidates across the country can complete payments without frustration.

Olawale Akanbi, who oversees Growth Marketing for Merchants and Ecosystem at Interswitch, explained why the company prioritised this initiative. "At Interswitch, we understand how critical the UTME registration process is for millions of Nigerian students and their families. By providing secure, trusted, and widely accessible payment channels for JAMB ePIN purchases, we are helping candidates complete their registration with confidence and focus on preparing for their examinations," Akanbi stated.

He further assured candidates that the platforms are designed to sustain performance under pressure, maintaining strong security standards even when transaction volumes peak during the busiest registration periods.

Candidates looking to purchase their ePINs through Interswitch have two main options available. The Quickteller mobile app and web platform offer a convenient route, while the Interswitch Payment Gateway embedded directly within the JAMB website provides another straightforward alternative. The process requires candidates to visit the JAMB eFacility portal, verify their profile code, and select Interswitch to proceed with payment.

Beyond convenience, the platforms prioritise security, offering flexible payment options that accommodate candidates and their sponsors regardless of their location across Nigeria.

JAMB accredited registration centres have been advised to guide candidates to these Interswitch powered channels to minimise errors and ensure smooth ePIN purchases throughout the registration period.

With the registration window closing on 26th February 2026 and JAMB maintaining that no extension will be granted, candidates are strongly encouraged to secure their ePINs immediately through the Quickteller platform, the Interswitch Payment Gateway, or any accredited agent nationwide.

Procrastinating on this critical step risks last minute congestion, payment failures, and potential inability to complete registration before the deadline expires.
