Kaduna State communities have expressed appreciation for an education support initiative launched by Defence Minister Gen. Christopher Musa, which provides free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration to financially challenged students across the state.

Operating within the framework of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Uba Sani's Sustainable Agenda, the programme targets 1,150 young people spread across Kaduna's 23 local government areas. The intervention prioritises children from economically vulnerable backgrounds, with special consideration for those in localities affected by banditry and violent criminal activities.
Distribution follows a quota system allocating roughly 50 slots to each local government area, producing the aggregate figure of 1,150 participants. Residents characterise the development as timely and impactful, recognising its capacity to lighten financial burdens on poor families whilst unlocking new academic opportunities for the younger generation.

A significant number of citizens view the scheme as contributing substantially to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which champions inclusive and equitable quality education alongside lifelong learning opportunities for global populations by 2030.

Ibrahim described the programme as evidence of Gen. Musa's service orientation, pointing to his distinguished tenure as Chief of Defence Staff and current position as Minister of Defence, which has attracted sectional support transcending political, ethnic and religious divisions. He noted that "Almost everyone has set aside political and tribal differences to support him, as well as the administrations of President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani."

Hon. Mohammed Ibrahim Soba, representing Soba Local Government Area politically, termed the initiative a significant building measure. He remarked that Kaduna State had not witnessed similar interventions in recent memory and conveyed confidence that the programme, championed by a minister of southern Kaduna heritage, would strengthen Governor Uba Sani's commitment to unity, inclusion and sustainable development throughout the state.
