Teesas Education has opened two new Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination tutorial centres in Ikota, Lagos State, and along Egbu Road in Imo State, bringing its total number of centres to four nationwide, while maintaining a success rate of over 97 per cent of students scoring above 200 in the UTME.
A statement issued on Tuesday said the expansion reflects the organisation's drive to extend high quality, technology driven examination preparation to more students across Nigeria. The statement described Teesas as one of the fastest growing UTME tutorial providers in the country.
The organisation operates a hybrid learning model that combines physical classes taught by expert tutors with online coaching for students who are unable to attend in person. The centres are equipped with modern learning technology, including interactive boards that allow tutors to deliver multimedia content such as tutorial videos, improving engagement and helping students retain information more effectively.
Since launching its JAMB tutorial centres in 2024, Teesas Education has recorded strong performance outcomes. Over 97 per cent of its students scored above 200 in the UTME, while 25 per cent scored above 300, placing the organisation among the top performing UTME tutorial providers in Nigeria.
The Founder and Chairman of Teesas Education, Mr Osayi Izedonmwen, explained the rationale behind the expansion. "Our goal is simple. We want to give every child the best chance at securing admission into their dream university," he stated. "These new centres allow us to support even more students with in person tutoring that is structured, engaging, and proven to deliver results."
Students have also shared testimonies about the programme. Sixteen year old Onyemwennosa Iyamu said Teesas Learning Centre played a key role in her UTME success, noting that tutors covered additional topics beyond what she had been taught in school.
