The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has unveiled a new three tier pricing system for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, with fees ranging from ₦5,700 to ₦8,700 depending on the type of application.
JAMB is officially offering candidates the option to register with or without the Mock examination, giving students flexibility in their preparation approach.

JAMB emphasised that candidates must specify the type of e-PIN required at the point of purchase because no refund will be made once payment is completed.
The Board clarified that centre charges (₦700 registration + ₦500 bank charges) are already included in the total fee paid for the PIN. Therefore, no additional payment should be made at CBT centres.
"Candidates are to note that centre and bank charges of ₦700/₦500 respectively have been included in the total fee paid for the pin which JAMB remits to the centres; therefore, no other fee should be paid at the centre," the statement read.

JAMB stated clearly in the press release that "the registration fee is non refundable." Candidates are therefore advised to:

The Board warned that e-PINs purchased are tied to individual profiles and are not transferable. Candidates should:

The optional Mock examination allows students who feel adequately prepared to save ₦1,500, while those who prefer practice can pay the additional fee.
