Candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Monday, April 20, can now access their results, following a confirmation from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Tuesday.

JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin announced the release in a statement, directing candidates to check their scores through the board's standard process.

"The results for Monday, 20th, have been released. Candidates can view their results using the usual process," he stated. Benjamin did not indicate the number of candidates whose results were released alongside the announcement.

The steps to access these results are easy, and have been explained in this detailed guide: Two Ways to Check your JAMB Results.

The Monday release adds to a growing total of results published since the 2026 UTME began. On Sunday, the board released 1,264,940 results covering examinations conducted on Friday and Saturday. Before that, 632,752 results from Thursday's examination had been published, bringing the cumulative total before Monday's batch to 1,897,692.

The latest release comes against the backdrop of frustration expressed by candidates over the delayed publication of Friday's results. Many reported incurring charges from multiple checking attempts after the board had given assurances that results would be available. JAMB subsequently dismissed calls for refunds, maintaining that no official release announcement had been made before Sunday and that candidates who checked did so at their own discretion.

With Monday's results now out, candidates are advised to check their scores promptly through official JAMB channels.
