If you're a student in Sokoto State hoping to write your UTME in 2026, your journey begins at a JAMB accredited CBT centre. These are the official locations where candidates register, confirm their information, and often take their exams.
But not all centres are reliable. In 2025, JAMB removed two centres in Tambuwal Local Government Area from its list because they didn't meet the required technical standards, leaving many students scrambling to find new spots at the last minute.
To help you avoid a similar experience, this website offers a verified list of accredited centres for 2026, so you can choose a trustworthy venue and register with confidence.

Guide for An Effective Registration
Follow these simple steps below to register for JAMB smoothly and avoid mistakes:
1. Create an Email and Get Your NIN Ready
First, make a personal email address that you will use for everything related to your school application. Also, make sure you have a valid National Identification Number (NIN) because you must have it to register with JAMB.
2. Get Your JAMB Profile Code
Send your NIN by text message to 55019 or 66019. This will give you a special JAMB profile code. You need this code before you can finish your registration at an approved test centre.
3. Check Your Subjects
Before you register, check the subjects you need for the course you want to study. If you pick the wrong subjects, you could be disqualified later.
4. Register at an Official JAMB Centre
Always register at a JAMB approved centre. This makes sure your information is correct and protects you from scams. If you register anywhere else, it will not be accepted.
5. Check Your Personal Info Twice
Make sure your name, birth date, local government area, and other details are written correctly. Mistakes can make the admission process harder.
6. Give Correct O’Level Information
Enter your correct O’Level results. If you are still waiting for your results, choose “awaiting result.” Remember to upload your results to the JAMB portal when you get them.
7. Pay the Official Way
Only pay the official JAMB fee and get your ePIN. Always ask for a receipt for any payment you make.
8. Pick Your Schools Carefully
Choose your first and second choice schools wisely. Think about your expected exam score and how hard it is to get into the programs you want.
9. Print and Save Everything
After you register, print your eSLIP and other profile details. Keep them safe because you will need them for your exam and the admission process.
10. Stay Updated
Check the official JAMB website or trusted education sites regularly. This will keep you informed about exam dates, when to reprint your exam slip, and other important news.
